Deposit & Payment
How booking deposits and final payment work.
A deposit is required to confirm your booking. The amount depends on the scope of work, typically $150 to $200.
Time slots are first come first serve and only confirmed once the deposit is received.
The remaining balance is collected on site once final charges are confirmed, before the job begins.
We advise booking at least 1 week in advance to secure your preferred date.
Rescheduling & Cancellation
Need to change your date? Here is how it works.
Any changes to your confirmed date must be made at least 3 days in advance.
You are entitled to 1 free reschedule. A $60 fee applies for late rescheduling (less than 3 days notice) or for any reschedule after your free one has been used.
Cancellations: the deposit is fully forfeited, per service booked.
Site Condition & Requotes
Our quote is based on what is shared with us at the time of booking.
If the actual condition or details of the unit differ from what was stated or shared with us, we will carry out an on the spot requote before starting work.
For End of Tenancy Cleaning, the unit must already be cleared of personal belongings and trash before we arrive. If items are left behind, a disposal and packing charge will apply.
Floor Scrub & Formaldehyde Treatment Conditions
Specific terms that apply to these two services.
Deep Floor Scrub does not cover stain removal. It is a deep micro dust removal service for your floors.
Formaldehyde Treatment can only be performed once renovation is fully completed and cleaning has been done. Failure to meet this condition will result in the deposit being forfeited.
A post treatment formaldehyde level below 0.1mg/m3 will be met to the best of our ability. Results depend on factors such as air flow, amount of carpentry, when fabrication was done, type of laminate or wood, and activities in or near your unit. Formaldehyde levels after treatment are expected to fluctuate, though not significantly.
Inspection & Job Completion
What happens once the job is done.
Each booking is a one time appointment. Please inspect the unit, in person or virtually, on the same day right after the job is completed.
Once you have confirmed the work in person or over video, Scrubbys is considered fully discharged of responsibility for that job.
Any follow up visit requested after completion is treated as a new job and will be chargeable.
If You Are Not Happy
We aim to get it right the first time.
If something within the agreed scope was missed, message us and we will look into it. Every case is reviewed individually based on what was agreed at the time of booking.
Damage to Your Property
We treat every home with care.
If our team causes damage during a job, let us know within 24 to 48 hours with photos so we can make it right.
We are not responsible for pre existing damage or wear. Please flag any pre existing issues, such as cracks, stains or scratches, before the job starts so it is on record.
